Dr. Mario Carbonell is a primary care physician who specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.  Having completed his training in Jersey Shore and Miami before relocating to Charlotte County, he is an independent, well respected provider in this area since 2000.  His areas of special interest include cardiovascular health, diabetes control, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and preventive medicine.

Dr. Mario Carbonell’s goal is to work together with his patients, as a team, to keep them independent, autonomous, active and healthy…using as few medicines as possible.  Here at our clinic we pride ourselves on providing personalized, quality care.  We have excellent relationships with local specialists and hospitals so we are able to coordinate care.  Following a hospitalization, we provide continuity of care to keep you healthy and at home.  Dr. Mario Carbonell believes in and respects the importance of the doctor-patient relationship, so you will always see him at your appointment, not a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
